People shouldn’t get too concerned about the potential terminology. That’s very normal. Having negotiated a few similar agreements, I expect what has happened is that in the negotiation they have reached agreement on all the key farmout terms which means they now move to finalise the documents for execution. At this point its absolutely valid to go into trading halt because they have reached agreement on key terms meaning a deal now almost assured. It now could take a week or two to execute the final document, but it’s essentially a done deal….all good.
FYI I do think a CR will follow soon, but post farmout at a much higher price..
