Or it was a free market until the advent of the bots, IMO the bots are the real enemy, with this advent of bots, over 70% of SP movements on the ASX are now happening as a result of High Frequency Trading (HFT) of small share parcels.
Prior to bots most SP movements were due to larger share parcel purchases. The bots have turned stock exchanges on their heads, the bots should be banned.
