Yes I recall having to tone down ppls exuberance in the no so distant past, when comments such “going to the moon” were used and price targets of five + dollars were being bandied about. A dose of realism/valuation was needed so ppl didn’t get in with too many stars ($$) in their eyes about ARU potential in the short/medium term.
I suspect ppl are unaware that this stock is more like an Industrial-listed ASX stock, and will become more like a Utility stock in the no so distant future. It will provide an excellent return via dividends (from about 2028/9 onward) and capital growth via expansion of the Plant and resulting increased volume of NdPr oxide product.
As I have stated before, my children and future grandchildren will reap the biggest benefits from my investment in ARU ( and so will my SMSF). Once debt is repaid by ARU a dividend of 10-15c/share pa will likely be possible. The biggest jump in share price will occur if/when expansion plans are announced/confirmed and there is a doubling of output (possible by 2030) OR future drilling indicates a much larger resource (the two events should coincide). That’s when I expect to see a MC in excess of $6bil.($2-$3 per share)
Yes I know it could happen even earlier in a bull market with “irrational exuberance “ present, but I prefer to see less speculation and more common sense valuation in ARUs SP.
The biggest determinant of current SH future profits, is how well management/BOD manage to negotiate these Binding OT agreements, but more so the Strategic Equity and at what “price” it is given away to Partners/OffTakers/Funders (eg The Germans) and Commercial Lenders as well as HP/GR and of course us, existing shareholders (will we finally see a Non-renouncable entitlement issue)
