The same story as today, exponentially growing volumes into magnets for renewables, EVs and other high tech apps. China dominated supply and them willingness to use it as a weapon for their own development. China threatening to cut exports was the same story in 2010-ish.
This is a very long, ongoing story. Pretty much the same as Uranium.
No small caps for me anymore, if I want extra growth potential, I'll use leverage into much larger companies.
