I think you will find this area is subject to what is happening with the Gascoyne River which at 760km long making it WAs longest river with heaps of tributaries running off it so with a reasonable amount of rain the whole area becomes a flood plain. Google Agriculture WA and Gascoyne River to check out the photos. In a flood the river can be 400kms wide. The Boxcut will have an excess water program in place. It’s only my guess this is the current cause of any delays and as said earlier will we will all find out tomorrow.
