A Strategic Review is a process applicable to large complex companies with a thick layer of middle management, who are locked in their own sectors adn dont have a big picture overview. They all need to get together with the CEO and have conferences about how the organisation needs to be steered.

It is not relevant to small listed companies, which only have a handful of board members running a simple dig-up-and-process-minerals project. Fact is they should constatly be strategically assessing the project every day. If not, then they are lazy useless managers.

So when you hear this phrase being trotted out from a small listed company, especially a mineral explorer, it always corporate shit talk for "we 're just wasting time kicking the can down the road a little further to get our salaries a little longer".
