That's the ASX for you, too many small cap miners all based in effectively a small town (perth). People would have known about this weeks in advance, an earlier trading halt wouldnt have done too much to prevent manipulation.
I'm thinking it definitely won't spend much time in the 50s, I doubt it'll even hit 50c on market; there's an arbitrage opertunity if you can get into the raise but otherwise why would you sell once it gets to the low 50s too much risk of missing out.
That's the ASX for you, too many small cap miners all based in...
