Asking why they didn’t raise at 12-16 cents when NAIF approval was granted is legitimate. We know they were seeking further debt, perhaps too much in hindsight.
The question now is how will they keep the lights on until sentiment changes. How impressed will the recent investors be or were they fully in the loop? Is there a plan B, for example use the existing bores to develop a demo plant?
Meanwhile I can see day and short term traders having some sport. With the SP this low any movement is always worthwhile if you are sufficiently nimble.
Overall this is another blow for the sector.
