The reality might be none of the W.A. projects progress. These looked positive 5 years ago, but since economic conditions have changed, significantly increasing both the Capex and Opex of these projects to the point that few will be competitive against Chinese SOP.
If I wanted to get into the SOP business in Australia now, I’d build a Mannheim plant on the East Coast before I developed a brine project in the middle of nowhere in W.A.
