Sovereigh risk is always a factor with any mining activity in any country.
Until now, I have not been directly impacted, and in all honesty, did not price the risk into my LH profit projections and PDN's 75% share of it. I might say being very heavily invested, today's SP fall has created a rather large value investment crater for me.
The only comfort we can take right now, is that Chinese interests control the other 25% of LH. I don't think they will take any form of asset confiscation lightly.
There may also be just a couple of legal hoops the Namibian brains trust will need to jump through for this minister and the government to be taken seriously.
Smart or not, got a few buys in this morning around the current lows, which I cannot know whether I will live to regret or rejoice when trading opens.
