Ignore opposing views at your own peril.
The opposing argument to yours is that people that do "have skin in the game" sometimes look at the things with blinkers on and do a lot of wishful thinking. HC forums across the board are full of them.
Read back over the last month on this thread. It verged for a number of weeks of being an EUR marketing campaign.
Opposing points of view are absolutely worth while, even when one does not agree, to keep you thinking, questioning and ensuring those blinkers remain off.
