I can't see how anyone is spinning this as a positive.
The company was factoring in the cash injection of the options in July which will expire and are worthless (about 75% of my holdings are options lol).
The company now needs to raise capital to pay for it's running costs.
The key problem for me is Adrian, in the past he has talked a lot about us being cash flow positive very soon. Every time he has been wrong, it makes you wonder if he really understands the business or has unrealistic expectations for timelines and how quickly things can be monetised.
When I first invested in CRO is was a SaaS play, now it is a lending company. In all honesty for Spenda to reach it's potential we should get a CEO with lending experience and Adrian should become CTO. I don't doubt he is good in a tech sense but I don't think he is the best option to lead a lending firm.
Just my opinion.
