I don't want to fearmonger, and I suspect that this will be a blip longer term, but it's a salient reminder for me to avoid non-Tier 1 jurisdictions. Africa in particular. Assuming that this is comparatively low impact, it's still as stressful as hell for all holders, as none of us likes uncertainty.
There's a significant element of risk in all stocks, especially specs and juniors, and we all get our fingers burnt every so often when a 'duster' gets reported (etc). But it's really hard to swallow setbacks when absolutely everything is pointing in the right direction with a company (in this case LLL) and the rug can get pulled out from under you by the host jurisdiction.
I'll continue to hold because I think LLL has the makings of a monster, but I'm never going down the African rabbit hole again, and I think much the same of South America.
