If there was some good news out there, and if there is an initial placement to sophisticated investors for the $4-5m that has been mentioned, surely they would have had to disclose that news at the time of the trading halt.
I don't think you can have potential new investors being privy to information before existing shareholders - that would have to be a breach of ASX rules - even if we are in a trading halt and can't trade.
If they are approaching sophisticated investors initially then it must be with the information that has already been released - aside from a description on the uses of the funds raised.
Now the use of funds may hold some clarification - but again it probably shouldn't be for anything we don't already know.
I think if there was further news - it would have to released as an announcement, at the same time as the trading halt
