I am hopeful that the announcement will go:
- Current chairman gets the boot due to misconduct
- They get in someone good as an interim chairman or CEO in order to settle the market (hence the trading halt as they need a couple of days to sure things up)
- Assays get released in 3 - 4 weeks

Regarding lack of assays, I think it's easy to jump to the worst case scenario here, but Quantum have put up to $300m USD on the line. Do you think they would've put their reputation/money on the line without doing some DD about what is likely to be in the ground?

Would this be wise for a company that's wanting to gain credibility in the gold space and is one of the suppliers of the Perth Mint, to be directly linked to a rug pull on the ASX?

It sounds like there might be some infighting and power plays going on behind the scenes, particularly with Quantum wanting a bigger slice of the pie and more control of the board.

I'm an optimist though, so take it with a grain of salt.
