It seems that FDA notified Meso that the decision will be announced tomorrow. Since US trading time is the night of oz, Meso will not be able to send out announcement until working hours in oz. It is prudent to halt the trading, and have enough time to wait on FDA decision and draft announcement, without worrying about leak. I checked last time with CRL, trading halt was issued on Oct 1 and announcement was on Oct 2nd. Might be same logic. Hopefully good news this time!
