ChemX Materials Ltd (Company) requests that the ASX grants a trading halt in its securities under ASX
Listing Rule 17.1.
In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1 the Company advises that:
a) the trading halt is requested to enable the Company to manage its continuous disclosure obligations
pending the release of an announcement regarding a strategic funding package and management
change (Announcement);
b) the Company requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the release of the
Announcement by the Company, or the commencement of trading on 4 August 2023; and
c) the Company is not aware of any reason the trading halt should not be granted or any other
information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
I've never heard THAT wording before for a capital raise, so they are either being sneaky (aka cap raise) or CMX have finally done something useful for shareholders and other companies want a piece of us etc. Hopefully its the later.
Also interested to hear who on management they are changing AGAIN!!!! Honestly, how many times in 18 months can you change management and the board...
