Agree that an acquisition is off the table on this trading halt.
The board want you to vote for the funding as they have threatened to delist the company if not voted through.
The other deals they have seen are not being promoted. The board will see this company eventually fall to another large player. That player has been seen in announcements past. Just don't be too surprised when it all goes down.
I think the trading halt is a dress rehearsal of what is to come.
