I have been trying to make sense of this whole situation but I cannot unless I go into a conspiracy theory.
The 2 Chrisp brothers resigned as alternative directors in early August. No change in substantial holding was announced from Chrisps. Annual results are due within a week.
Theory #1: They were the sellers from 14c to 10c. They bought back through capital raising at 9c, leaving them with extra funds to exercise options before end of the year. There would be no need to inform of change in holding as the net was zero. The annual report Top 20 would also show no change.
Theory #2: I don't have any other theories.
I think operations are solid and there is no need for any concerns.
I wish I sold earlier and bought back, but I also think we'll be multiples of the current price by the end of the year.
