1. Is entirely possible but most improbable - they have just got 2 new well supplies for GAS. Occurrences like this are not month to month. Frequent and directive Govt interference in commercial enterprise runs contrary to encouraging FDI. The infrequent "please assist" is accepted especially for 3rd world countries.
2. Govt interference when they are clamouring for international investment. No - I don't think so. They have supply and while they would love to direct international firms - it totally kills the overall investment attractiveness if a Govt intervenes. Not a play for a Govt selling their investment proposition.
3. Perhaps its just this or some variant/derivative - Oil is flowing freely. API looks like..., Net pay is now estimated at etc. Works complete. Moving rig 20m to commence A3. Samples and logs sent to McDaniels for new assessment, etc. Remember - this was APPRAISAL not a WILDCAT....the Announcement will be about results and previous results didn't need a TH (all previous TH were about good news).
They don't do TH for bad news...not even the rig was taken for Govt work! Go look at the Ann of 23rd march....not TH..just stating the facts.
Again...just MHO..the news is good and to the positive side of the sentiment. The BIG PRIZE awaits - Alameda-3. Patience and a belief in the fundamentals (which have been de-risked substantially) will pay handsomely. DYOR and not Financial Advice.
