I hear ya. Remember that Sonangol is the 70% holder and no small fish. Borrowing a rig is a whole lot different to "thou shalt now drill production wells"....its magnitude difference in terms of cost and how it would interpreted by the international community. I simply can't find a precedent to this degree of govt interference and if you can..happy to read the context.
Cuba - I need to correct you here..how is it corrupt? Corruption is defined as the abuse of entrusted power for private gain. Do you see this in Cuba where a govt is trying to get the best they can for their people despite the despicable, monstrous and inhumane sanctions imposed by the USA?
If you want to use the word corrupt - use it on the USA and the UN and IMF and WorldBank.
