I had the misery of having shares in a company that Sandon as the major shareholder delisted.
Despite having over a $1m in franking credits and some other minor assets, Sandon just recapitalised it and valued the existing shares as worthless. No doubt the franking credits then went into one of their funds.
Technically you have almost as many rights in a Private Company as a listed one but in reality you have nothing.
As much as it will hurt, once this gets approved, take what's on offer and get out before de-listing. When push comes to shove, they'll shove hard.
