Interesting to note that two of the people contributing to the IVZ comments do not hold. I have checked other posts from these two participants and from the sample size of companies and comments, only one of the participants indicated that they were holding that particular that stock. The contribution made by these contributors for all the other companies were mainly negative.
I don’t expect all comments on a company to be favourable as buying shares in companies such as IVZ are a risk but individual shareholders will make their decisions based on risk v reward knowing that the outcome might not end up favourably and / or take time.
I would have thought for contributors to comment, (unless gaining an understanding and researching a stock) they would have skin the game rather than sitting on the sidelines throwing negative comments from a relatively uninformed position.
