i think Scotty said that they needed extra contingency funds incase something goes wrong during the drilling, and also they have just decided to drill deeper. ( just what I gather from links comments on HotCopper)Also If they waited until after , whoever it is that wanted to buy in obviously wanted to get it at a cheaper price and not wait until after the discovery ? That is just my guess and I could be completely wrong.
