Yeah agreed, classic prospect theory (one of the few economic theories I can actually get around - most are theoretical nonsense)
I try to change my perception of a falling share price from a negative event to a positive buying opportunity. Seeing it as a discount as opposed to a loss really does help maintain focus on the company rather than the share price. I also write down my original thesis to avoid emotions obscuring my view of the company, and I will continue to reevaluate the company against that thesis to assess whether or not I remain invested. The company is continuing to improve, so unless that changes in such a way that my thesis is no longer attainable, I'll remain invested.
