Board would be liable under the ASX if they dont go into TH with significant news pending and it leaked. Especially if one of their dog walkers purchased a bunch of shares.
Standard to cover yourself and go into TH. Mining shares always do it a few days before drilling results are due etc. I suspect they got communications that a decision will be made in next 24/48hrs. Heads up from the FDA so company can do trading halt etc. Remember every country has different laws etc, so the FDA not likely to just drop a bombshell without letting company know a few days in advance that news is coming. Doesnt mean it's positive or negative, could mean their coffee machine broke and it will be delayed a week.
