Usually when the falling price is not confirmed by the commodity it is exposed to, I would cynically observe this ias inside info exploitation. However gold price has been falling and the future broke the psy $1900 yesterday. If you compare the general trend of both, the correlation is very strong.
Unfortunate to bring out a CR in this cycle of late. I have noticed this type of cycle is repeated elsewhere kinda like sell in weakness and celebrate in strength!
On the optimistic side of things, ability to just sell 2 tranches to raise $300M is quite a feat indicating to me there is strong corporate demand v the 'let's give shareholders an opportunity' usual excuse usually when raising is hard.
