I agree - but after the Labcon fiasco and the last few years it's the principle; exec and management should be extending goodwill and adopting an all-in-it-together approach... I don't know, maybe I'm not ruthless enough or underappreciating the work that goes on in the background, however if I were chair (General) and knew that rations were about top be replenished and finally available to distribute amongst the loyal and starving soldiers, I wouldn't of taken this intelligence and my position of influence to make sure that a few extra rations came my way... not saying it is a material difference to the tangible reward, but a good leader is also mindful of the intangible respect and good will.
