WA Hardrock is heating up...Wildcat Resources shares have surged on high-grade drill results and Chris Ellison buy-in speculation, with the company’s boss aiming to be a kingmaker in the lithium-rich Pilbara.
Wildcat on Monday released drilling results from its flagship Tabba Tabba lithium-tantalum project, touting 85-metre wide intercepts at 1.5 per cent lithium oxide. On Sunday reports suggested that Mineral Resources managing director Chris Ellison was looking to build a stake in Wildcat.
Shares in Wildcat leapt 26 per cent to trade at 58¢ each by the close of Monday’s trade, continuing an extraordinary rise from 3¢ per share a year ago.
