A $3 SQM offer will only flush out other buyers. Sure SQM own 20% of AZS, but there is nothing stopping another suitor aquiring on market and also taking Creasy's share. An example being the STX, WGO, Hancock and MIN action regarding the Perth Basin aquisition. STX went in with a significant holding in WGO but ultimately lost out. A lot has happened since SQM's first try. $3.80 + would interest me given the opportunities on market at present. $4+ would get it done. Ultimately though it's going to be up to the sub holders other than SQM.
