I was at a tertiary institute yesterday, and they had a massive flatscreen in the student lounge blaring out hip hop, complete with twerking, bling, the lowered cars...
there were young people around obviously, women in abayas, and the full range.

Nobody was watching it.

I did for a bit in kind of appalled amazement. Some of it is very good but most of the gangsta stuff is just so bad...few redeeming features. Tupac was an interesting person. Nick Broomfield was pointing the finger at the whole Death Row Records thing and police corruption, he had a very interesting documentary there. Broomfield manages to overcome being just so annoying with his talking through his teeth shtick and bumbling Colombo style. His main witness being that retired detective ...it is compelling stuff.

Just hoping AZS hasn't been subjected to a driveway shooting.
