The Northwest Territories in Canada used to be boom town for diamond exploration (still is, but diamonds are currently worthless) and now you have the new Lithium rush which is picking up lots of momentum, with Canadian Government incentives available there as well.

The discovery of these LCT pegmatite deposits is driving major interest in the NWT area for lithium extraction companies."
