LOL there is a basis for shorting large caps given liquidity on offer and efficient pricing.
Shorting a small micro cap on the cusp of deals requires extra intel.
Clearly you're not a SI or fund manager.
Nevertheless why don't you set out your own thesis of the asymmetrical risk of taking on a short trade given it could have seen unlimited losses if the China regional deal did land in time versus the 40%?
