Another shorter confirmed that CCP wouldn't allow the release 1 yuan as the basis of their investment decision to short despite that fact that outward deals are happening regularly.

Shorting is not available to all investors. Hard to for me to believe that SI and Long Short Funds haven't used some extra intel before executing their trades given the amount of DD they typically do beforehand.

As I noted it hard to contain such info when you rattle the tin at investors with so many stakeholders involved. Chinese wall inside the industry have limits as we all know.

Who do u think the company goes tin rattling to first? Large existing holders or somehow leaking info to random short sellers lmao?

Judging by the short interest and volumes its clear the vast majority was long selling.

Anyone who didnt drink the cool aid and has followed the history of the company's overpromise/underdeliver combo would have sold on the spivvy pops.
