I agree with you for once, I'm not sure why they would need to request a trading halt until 1 Nov. to announce a deferral of the AGM.
Spider senses are telling me that there may be a bit more happening below the surface as the Wolverine DFS is due to drop this quarter, it's just gone 1 year since the ILU deal was announced and Nick C's call option deal with major chinese shareholders expires today (@ 10c so way out of the money). Perhaps another major deal is at hand that requires some more negotiation and legal work before the Notice of AGM can be issued with the appropriate motions, and they don't want to risk a leak beforehand?
