Correct me if I am wrong, but if a small cap has a few dollars raised and in the bank, and there is news flow expected on results soon...then it will surely be seen as very positive if results are released and they are good and that the company already has $ in the bank.

I don't think Caruso would raise funds just to keep company admin running..he traditionally stumps up himself for that sort of thing. So its surely positive that a capital raising is done at this specific moment in time?

If the results are good, and there's also a heap of money in the EMC bank account, then surely there will be a decent re-rate in the share price.
Its way more efficient. No need to release results and then spend time running around raising capital.

My view is it is positive
