Piston engines are going to die all but, no matter what you say battery technologies will win out in the long run and yes presently thermal run away is an issue with NCM type batteries where as LFP not so.
Lithium will be required 10 fold for more than just EVs although a great deal will go into EVs. Its a new age metal and lives on in every mobile telephone used on the planet.
Australia is a large mineral pot and Lithium is one of them and its great to have some in our grasp as a new age metal. Complete that with our known Phosphate and there you have it Lithium Ferrous Phosphate Batteries that Tesla already use in the majority of their mass production class vehicles.
Of course you have 2 types you can choose from with Tesla the up market NCM or the lower cost LFP but the lower cost LFP batteries are standard in most Asian models due its cost savings over NCM.
LFP batteries have longer life cycles and can if space is no issue be great storage type batteries.
The vision is simple here towards new age metals and battery technologies. We still have copper & other in our port folio so as long as we keep actively drilling we will find something in Northern Western Australia or the NT. Then go back to Peru and have another drill.
