    I know in my SMSf and with my personal trading account, if the spread is too high, a high bid buy order gets rejected.
    unless there is somebody dropping in little step up sells it can be impossible to get a buy order filled.

    check out the batches of 100 shares that are getting placed to help retail buyers and price climb.
