Agreed - there's clearly one of the axis's that dip's across to the west as shown in the chart below.
Until reported, what happens on the other axis is unclear. My postulation relates to what happens on the other axis (NW / SE which is parallel to the road). I hadn't considered whether folds might complicate the story. I'll need to think on that one.
