I'm not a holder, but it would be a bad look on the MD and his reputation if he came out and said they are fully funded, then raised money to sophs, then drill results came back as duds. Then you've pissed off retail AND sophs and sophs will be left holding the bag.
Perth is a small place, that wouldn't go down too well.
