It says something about the character of Mr Itescu and his respect for shareholders that this news wasn't released well before the AGM or at least on the day.
There's just no justifying the decision to avoid that scrutiny.
Even worse, from reports, his informal chat afterwards left shareholders feeling assured that the very opposite was true.
Retail appears to have purchased a lot of shares yesterday on the back of that AGM, you can bet the instos were better informed.
