Results means they have a fluid sample, else it's a no result.
Intermediate. Defn. 'occuring in the middle place or stage', meaning they have obtained something and plan to continue onwards after this announcement.

Hole failure is final, not intermediate.
And there is no halt in the middle of a sampling program to declare we don't have a sample but are still in the middle of the program. The market would be "well continue and don't waste our time with intermediacy again"

'Intermediate' indicates there is more to come and not even a cautious geo can deny this
