Oops! Regretfully, I am wrong, in the case of IVZ, about auto suspensions..
1) To my knowledge the ASX only imposes an auto Suspension where for some reason a company has not complied with a request from the ASX to advise them of information, by a certain date & time, that is suspected as currently being deliberately withheld. (My bad English.)
So in IVZ's case these circs obviously do not apply.
2) A Voluntary Suspension - when requested of the ASX by a Company prior to the expiry time of an existing TH - because it has not had sufficient to provide the details the subject of its request for a TH - is then agreed to by the ASX - and granted for an indeterminate period until such time as the Company can provide the subject details.
So it's quite possible that these circs might arise by 10.00am AEDT tomorrow, in the case of IVZ.
Given the possible complexity of a "groundbreaking" ANN's details by IVZ, that eventuality would not surprise me.
But it might cause some concern to newbies amongst those of us far more experienced in trading or investing in "junior' explorers or oilers.
