Imbio technology looks complimentary to XV. While XV provides functional assessment of lung ie flow, Imbio is looking at density of lung tissue which indicates disease. Eg emphysema, would result in low density area. This could provide a an almost complete picture of lung for physicians eg structure (standard imaging via X-ray or CT) function XV , density and in the future blood flow or perfusions VQ ....With all of these modalities being given to the physician, its almost like having a patients lung in your hand!.
