I agree they pumped the price ahead of the raise. Big difference between the last raise and this one though.

Last one had a SPP and they increased the cap raise amount in order to not scale it back and handed out way more shares than expected to retail holders. Everybody got the shares they wanted and more, leaving very little demand for shares on market and a lot of excess supply. Really screwed us over tbh.

This time there is no SPP so retail investors (like me) need to buy on market if they want to avoid dilution or increase their holding. I doubt this raise will impact the SP as negatively as the last one. Hopefully the raising is heavily oversubscribed (as if it wouldnt be?!) leaving some instos also wanting more shares. I actually kind of hope the share price goes down to 80c though because I want some.
