I disagree with your statement about charities. I've worked in a couple and I know how wasteful they are compared to businesses. Imagine if Intellicare only netted 10-30% of the capital raise. Well, that's what charities get a lot of the time with fundraisers, after costs. Charities perform a noble and essential service, but they're not delivering innovation to make people's lives better, like smart phones, renewable energy, communications, modern medicine...
