Why a Trading Halt?

Well, we could all see the NEU share price and volume increase this week on anticipation. Need to stop the speculation.

Only 6 business days left and you can probably write off the last 3 - Wed to Friday next week.

If 2591 delivers results similar to the pre-clinical mouse data, then I think this will be huge news within Australia, New Zealand and around the world. I hope they fly Dame Margaret Brimble over for the announcement.

Also, NEU / Jon needs time to prepare media, broker and shareholder briefing packs.

I am wondering due whether NEU made contact with some broker to arrange a day and time to brief them, particularly given there is only a few business days left before Christmas. Some thing of this nature may have started the market excitement.


When will NEU announce the Results?

So, I think NEU / Jon will announce the 2591 Top Line Results on Friday morning before market open. I also expect NEU / Jon to hold an investor webinar on the same day.

Announcing it on Friday would give the analysts and press time to prepare for publishing early next week before it is lost amongst the Christmas festivities later in the week.

Just my wild thoughts ....
