OK, let's go back and have a look at what happened during the NNZ-2591 Phase 1 trial.
Now for some reflection on relevant past ASX announcement from 2020-2021. There are plenty of positive messages within these announcements that suggest we may be in for a positive announcement on Monday.
Note that the 2591 Phase 1 trial was only in adults, so there are some risk and uncertainty about how 2591 may perform in younger age groups.
Trofinetide is being used in younger age groups and seems to be functioning OK for most.
We have been told by NEU that 2591 pre-clinically is better than Trofinetide, so hopefully this turns out to be the case.
I really hope that 2591 is safe and efficacious for all age groups, as it would be pleasing if the drug can help the tiny tots during their early developmental years.
