I think it’s incorrect to lay the blame of the post announcement dump at the feet of PAC and SIs. They have not got the ammo to do what happened. Hedge funds make money off holding down share prices and accumulating these stocks low in anticipation of selling the news. The problem is, no one was buying in enough volume to offset it. Happens all the time.

IVZ in my opinion completely misread the market and the games going on under their noses. They need to sell the hype much better especially in Zimbabwe with no PPSA signed, no oil or liquids announced and pretty poor net pay numbers.

And what do we have now? A $25M raise with very little information on what the money will be used for. Just vague ideas like pilot plants.

Totally agree with your sentiment though. They have no one to blame but themselves.
