C’mon Charles, it’s not rocket science. Christmas is a time of giving, good will and cheer, peace on earth, family and all that. Something people look forward to for a year, even in non-Christian settings (check out the malls in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, for instance). Dumping this turd in the punch bowl on the eve of all this just serves to screw up the atmosphere. Plus, some probably had hopes for some big Christmas presents paid for by a jacked up sp.
